Sportscape Education: Developing tutors skills is vital in providing a top-class experience for apprentices
At Sportscape Education, it’s essential for us that we deliver the highest quality education to our apprentices.
Because of this, developing our tutors teaching skills is vital.
Our Head of Education, Millie Jones, is no exception when it comes to this aspect of professional development.
Millie has recently taken a significant step in her professional development as she continues working towards her Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET).
As part of the course, Millie was formally observed delivering a lesson, a key component in demonstrating teaching ability, classroom management and effective student engagement.
The observation assessed her ability to structure lessons, adapt to different learning styles and create an interactive and supportive environment for learners.
With her wealth of experience in sports education, Millie designed a session that was both engaging and informative.
Her teaching was praised for its clarity, structure and the way she encouraged active participation from students.
The feedback highlighted her strong communication skills, adaptability, and ability to make complex topics accessible to all learners.
The Level 5 DET qualification is a crucial step for educators looking to enhance their skills and gain formal recognition in the sector.
By undertaking this qualification, Millie is not only strengthening her own expertise but also reinforcing Sportscape Education’s commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
We’re incredibly proud of Millie’s dedication and look forward to seeing her continue to inspire both learners and fellow educators.
