Sportscape Education helps employers by putting on Level 2 CAC apprenticeship courses at time to suit them
At Sportscape Education, we’re committed to providing flexible, impactful training that fits seamlessly into the schedules of our partners.
With this in mind, we were able to put on sessions for apprentices studying the Level 2 Community Activator Coach (CAC) apprenticeship course for our employer partners during the October half-term.
The Level 2 CAC apprenticeship focuses on developing coaches who can actively support and energise their communities by planning, leading and coaching physical activities for people of all ages.
We started the lesson with a targeted starter task, which sets the stage for the learning objectives of the day.
The focus was on a critical self-assessment exercise, where apprentices were asked to identify their strengths and weaknesses as coaches.
By understanding these personal attributes early on, they can actively implement this insight into their planning and interactions as they progress in the course.
Self-awareness is a foundational skill for any coach.
Through reflection, our apprentices recognise their unique qualities and growth areas, fostering a mindset for continuous improvement.
This approach not only enhances their coaching abilities but also ensures that they’re equipped to create a positive impact within the communities they serve.
Our commitment to flexibility allows us to work closely with employers to schedule training sessions when they’re most convenient.
Whether during half-terms or other suitable times, Sportscape Education ensures that each session delivers high-quality learning in a way that aligns with our partners' needs.
Together, we’re shaping skilled, reflective, and adaptive coaches ready to make a difference in their communities.
