Sportscape Education appoints new liaison officer to support coaching apprentices

In the last couple of months, Sportscape Education has introduced a Liaison Officer role to support all new cohorts of apprentices, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to excel.

Ed Parrish, whose dedication and expertise are already making a significant impact, has been appointed to the role.

Ed’s work is as diverse as it is vital. Each week, he tailors his responsibilities to meet the unique needs of the learners.

Among his key contributions are:

  • Conducting reviews to help apprentices clearly understand their progress and identify areas for growth;

  • Delivering additional sessions designed to enhance essential career skills, such as effective communication;

  • Tracking student progression through tools like Century, ensuring that learners stay on track toward their academic and career goals;

  • Regular check-ins with apprentices, providing personalised support to help them achieve maximum success.

Ed’s background is steeped in sports and primary PE coaching, as well as well-being support, making him an invaluable resource for our apprentices.

His extensive experience allows him to connect with learners, understand their challenges, and offer targeted guidance to help them thrive both in their studies and future careers.

The feedback from apprentices has been overwhelmingly positive and it’s clear that Ed’s efforts are appreciated by all.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Ed for his hard work and dedication.

Here’s to continued success as he supports our learners on their journey to greatness!
