Sportscape Education apprentices warned to improve cyber security to protect their mobile phone data and personal details

Sportscape Education students have been warned about the dangers of not protecting their phones and the importance of cyber security.

At Sportscape Education we believe in giving students a broad range of knowledge.

Part of this comes in the form of our Continual Personal Development or CPD days.

We like to get expert guests in to talk to students about different issues around their future work.

One of our CPD days involved a talk from Detective Constable Andrew Kevan, who is part of the Cyber Crime Team at Cheshire Police.

DC Kevan warned the students that they cannot simply look at their mobiles as just a phone, it’s a mini-computer.

He added that based on this, they needed to take measures to protect what they do on them.

Understanding your phone
