Sportscape Education’s success at delivering 1st4Sport Level 1 Activators (Multi-Skills) course for future coaching stars aged 14+

Sportscape Education has successfully delivered its first 1st4Sport Level 1 Activators (Multi-Skills) course, equipping young aspiring coaches with the foundational skills needed to step into the world of sports coaching.

The course, open to individuals aged 14 and over, provided an opportunity for participants to gain hands-on experience in organising and leading engaging coaching sessions.

From learning how to activate participants through multi-skills to understanding the role of an activator, attendees embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and commitment.

Millie Jones, Head of Teaching at Sportscape Education, led the sessions, ensuring a high-quality learning experience for all involved.

She was supported by guest tutors Ed and Jake from Sports Coaching Group, whose expertise added valuable insight to the sessions.

Their guidance helped participants develop confidence and practical skills, setting them on the right path towards a future in coaching.

Reflecting on the success of the course, Millie said: “It was fantastic to see so many young people taking their first steps into coaching. The enthusiasm and dedication they showed were inspiring and we’re excited to see where their coaching journey takes them next.”

With such positive feedback from participants, Sportscape Education has confirmed that the Level 1 Activators course will run again soon, giving more young people the chance to start their coaching careers.
